We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new Head Students for this academic year. Stepping into this role is a massive opportunity for both of us as we’ve always aspired to make a positive impact on our school community. We aspire to lead and collaborate with our peers, teachers and community and we can’t wait to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our school.

 For me, leadership means more than just a title. It embodies the responsibility to inspire, support and guide others, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and heard. We believe in leading by example, demonstrating integrity, empathy and dedication in all our endeavours.

 Over the next year, I aim to initiate projects that promote inclusivity, enhance school spirit and encourage academic and extracurricular excellence. I hope to create an atmosphere where every student feels empowered to voice their ideas and participate actively in school life. Together, we look forward to making this year memorable and impactful for everyone at Hope Academy.

Becoming Head Student, for me, is a dream come true. I have a great pride for my school and a passion for helping others to achieve their goals so I was extremely happy to receive the role because it means I get to really focus on that.  

I’m very dedicated to my school and I’m honoured that I have been chosen as a representative of it. I want to be a voice for the students here at Hope and I am confident that I will be able to do so. I feel as though I am a strong leader since I can listen to others and consider different ideas. I believe I also have the confidence to tell others my own ideas too. 

 I have a lot of skills involving teamwork, which I’ll be using quite frequently considering the amazing prefect team I am working alongside too. Everyone chosen for the role this year is amazing! 

In this coming year, I hope to make a difference and show the wider community how incredible Hope academy is. I also have a great passion for the community of Newton-le-Willows, particularly its history, so I would like to be able to set up some events between the school and the local community and incorporate our town into my work too. I am very excited for this upcoming year and the opportunities that it will bring.
