The Art and Photography curriculum intent is based around the National Curriculum aims and we have created a curriculum that explores a variety of cultures/themes and topics, allowing students to develop a diverse set of skills. Students will research artists and artis movements along with the historical and cultural context behind them and how they connect to other events in history.

At Hope, our Art and Photography courses contain both independent and guided direction together with time for discussion and critique. Our aims as an art department are to imbed a deep appreciation and love for the arts, that allows students to express themselves creatively.
